At-home Spa

So it's the holidays which means its crazy busy (and rude) at work nowadays. This means that it's time for some serious relaxing on my day off. Today I feel that this means that I should take a lovely bubble bath and try out some of the new products I got this month. So I grabbed some vanilla rose scented bubble bath  and filled up my tub. Apparently gel bubble bath doesn't work as well as the purely liquid kind, I felt I had to use a lot more than I thought I would. But it smelled pretty good so I was fairly happy with it.
Our bathtub is tiny but at least it was nice and warm. I listened to Sara Bareilles and used a face mask from Masqueology I got from Sephora. It felt a little weird on but overall I liked it. Hopefully it actually is good for my face. They're pretty expensive so I don't think I'll get more unless they work crazy well but they were fun to try.
Another cool thing I got this month was in my Popsugar Must Haves box this month. It was a moisturizing bar soap from Marianella made with oatmeal and milk. The scent I got was Aura Elena and I couldn't stop sniffing it. Some people on the internet thought the scent was too strong but I was a big fan. I don't think it made my skin ridiculously soft or anything but for a bar soap it was pretty good.
The last part of my spa adventure was doing up my nails for the new week. I've been obsessively checking the store for the new magnetic Essie Nail polish and I finally found it wednesday so I had to use it. I'm really bad at Magnetic nail polish so I usually don't like to get it but the snakeskin pattern is just so cool that I had to have it. So far the lines aren't as clear as I like so I guess I just need to keep trying.
Anyway it has been a most relaxing day (plus I made hamburgers which is always amazing) and I stayed out of the finally cold december air. Coming up soon I'll probably make a post about some of the subscription boxes I am a member of and maybe a set on some of the games my friends and I play regularly.
